The 13-car train consisted of Mikado 4501, water tender W.T.50, NRHS sleeper IMPERIAL EMBLEM, combine 726, coaches 1041, 1042 and 1043, baggage car 4061, coaches 1067, 1068, 1081, 1086, 1087 and 3659, and observation car 1056 LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN. It was crossing Bayou St. John on a bridge that had been built by the Missouri Valley Bridge & Iron Co. of Leavenworth, Kansas in 1905, but this was not its original location. |
