Album Info:The Massachusetts Bay Rail Road Enthusiasts chartered a photo special Saturday, January 3, 2015 on the Conway Scenic Railroad. I rode the train with my son Ted. There were four runby locations, where passengers could get off the train to photograph it roaring by. To limit crowding along the photo line, each runby location was repeated three times, with about a third of the passengers allowed to photograph/video each runby, then get back aboard the train to make space on the photo line for the next group, etc. The charter was well-organized and well executed. I had a great day!

CSRX 7470
Title:  CSRX 7470
Description:  Conway Scenic RR's 0-6-0 switcher CN #7470 was motive power for the day. This was 7470's final day of operation before an FRA-mandated boiler rebuild, so the next several operating seasons at Conway scenic won't have 7470 available, but it is planned to be returned to operation after the boiler work.
