DLW SC #426 - Delaware, Lackawanna & Western
Title:  DLW SC #426 - Delaware, Lackawanna & Western
Description:  Interesting and rare early example of a diesel switcher is this Delaware, Lackawanna & Western EMD SC #426. Built by the Electro-Motive Corportation (EMD predecessor) in February of 1935. This switcher was one of the early units that proved diesels could serve as well or better than small steam switchers. Definitely an historic locomotive.
