Album Info:Went up to Butler on this cloudy morning to shoot the new EJE Heritage Unit leading an eastbound oil train on the Waterlevel Route. However, the train began to experience PTC troubles and they decided to tack on a PTC compliant leader in Elkhart instead of Bellevue. While it wasn't leading, I'm happy I got to see it, along with some other catches. Enjoy!

Description:  This morning I saw that CN 3023, the brand new EJE Heritage Unit, was leading NS 66R across the Chicago Line. In order not to miss it, I went up early this morning to get a place set up around the Butler area. Upon my arrival, NS 18M was creeping east through town.

Description:  Unfortunately while looking at various Facebook updates about NS 66R, I read that a PTC Compliant Leader for out east had been added to the front end in Elkhart due to PTC issues with CN 3023. Since I had no real interest in it anymore, I decided to make the most of seeing something special. I went up north to Edon, OH where I ran into the INER working the Edon Grain Elevator with one of their GP30s and one of their SD40-2s.
