Album Info:Northern California's Pacific Coast has been dotted with railroads since the 1800s. Over the course of time, these smaller railroads merged into larger ones, and expanded from the north end of the San Francisco to Eureka, 270 miles further north. The Northwestern Pacific Railroad was one of these lines, which ran from Santa Rosa to Eureka. This album will include images taken across the North Bay, and follow the NWP mainline along the coast to Eureka. Also included will be SMART commuter services between Larkspur and Santa Rosa, and California WEstern "Skunk Train" operations between the NWP junction in Willits and Fort Bragg.
