As a result, there was a prolonged power outage that knocked out the main power for all KCS grade crossing signals as well as block signals in some areas. The Navy's Blue Angels fly in the background as UP 9988 passes
Title:  The Navy's Blue Angels fly in the background as UP 9988 passes
Description:  There is some type of Air Show at Barksdale AFB on Saturday, and the Navy's Blue Angels have been rehearsing all week. Usually, the military jets stay on the East Side of the Red River (over Bossier City) but for air shows, the planes do fly over Shreveport. I hope to get a better shot on Saturday, though if they run in the morning the sun will be on the wrong side. The most interesting part is that when I look at the series of photos I took, the four jets are in exactly the same formation in each photo, the only difference being relative size as the jets get farther away from the camera.
