LHR 2-8-2 Mikado #83 was built by Baldwin in August of 1918. The loco lasted on the roster for nearly 32 years before being scrapped in December of 1950 as diesles took over the duties. Specs 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 26x30" cylinders, engine wt of 292,000 lb and tractive effort of 54,600. No date or photographer was listed for the photo. |
