Description:  Built by ALCo-Schenectady in March of 1926 (serial #66615), this powerful locomotive served for twenty-six years before retirement in May of 1952 and later sold for scrap in 1954. Specs - 69" drivers, 225 psi boiler pressure, 27x30" cylinders, engine weight of 362,500 lb, tractive effort of 60,620 with a booster addition of 12,660 lb. The photo is from the Howard W. Ameling collection.
