Description:  All packed up and ready to move to Frisco is this Frisco 2-10-0 built by ALCo in 1918 for Imperial Russian State Railways but diverted by uhe USRA aad became 1089. In 1920 it became SLSF 1625, Eagle-Picher in 1951 and joined the Age of Steam Railroad Museum in 1964.

Title:  BO 2-10-0 #6500 - Baltimore & Ohio
Description:  Built by Alco-Brooks in June of 1907 as Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburgh #501, this 2-10-0 decapod and its sisters were designated helper units in a 17 mile stretch between between Clarion and Freeman, PA. In 1932, the B&O formally absorbed the Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburg with this loco being renumbered B&O #6500. The loco lasted in helper service where needed until being scrapped in December of 1948. Original specs - class Y, 52" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 24x28" cylinders, engine wt of 268,000 lb and tractive effort of 52,730 lb. The photo comes from the Ralph G. Dunn collection.

Description:  This long 2-10-0 decapod was built by Alco-Brooks in June of 1907 originally as Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburgh #506. In 1932, the BRP was officially absorbed into the B&O with this loco being renumbered BO #6505. It continued in service until being scrapped in March of 1950 after nearly 43 years of service. Specs - 52" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 24x29" cylinders, engine wt of 268,000 lb and tractive effort of 52,730. A superheater was applied later. This is an Howard W. Ameling photo.
