In 2015, EDPL had enough business to warrant running twice a week from Deerfield to Plainville, Conn. Generally now it rates at least two sometimes three or four units.

Description:  A gaggle of power idles away on the Canal Line in Plainville on a sunny winter morning. GP40-2LW 519, leased Providence & Worcester GP38 2010, GP40 352, GP40-2LW 501, and GMTX GP40 3109 (wearing a blue dip scheme but lacking Pan Am lettering) compose the lineup. This is the P&W unit's first appearance in Plainville, and seeing two ex-CN widecabs here is a special treat.
