SOO 74673
Title:  SOO 74673
Description:  SOO 74673 was part of the consist of a CN through freight heading south along Union St. at the former Sherry St. grade crossing at the north end of the former SOO yard at Neenah, WI, on 23 Apr. '22. SOO 74673 sports the stalk of wheat paint scheme. The paint scheme is often referred to as "sheaf of wheat" or "shock of wheat," but one stalk does not a sheaf nor a shock make. I have also heard it referred to as "wheat stripe." It is always interesting to capture SOO equipment plying former SOO rails. If I had been paying attention, I could have captured a pair of these cars coupled together.
