Chattahoochee Bay using Bayline power
A rare appearance on the Chattahoochee Bay at Hilton GA. NS delivered a coal train to the Chattahoochee Bay the night before and the Chattahoochee Bay used locomotives of The Bayline ,a fellow GWI road, to move the coal from Hilton to Dothan and then to Panama City. Seen here as power are 2 former GTW GP40's bracketing a slug formerly used on another GWI road, the Chattahoochee Industrial RR. In the background can be seen the usual Chattahoochee Bay local leaving Hilton with it's usual GP38 for power leading a string of export paper headed to Panama City.
