Closeup Of A Classic
The former Yadkin Valley Railroad (North Carolia) 3615 now works further south out of Troy, AL on the G&O sister line, the Conecuh Valley Railroad. This was originally the Central of Georgia line out of Columbus, GA. This motor was built in August of 1969 for the Penn Central as the PC 7761. It was later sold to Conrail and it retained its 7761 number. HLCX took control of it and changed it to the 3615, who later sold it to G&O.

Ken Roble General Dale, are any of the SW1500s still in Troy on the Concuh Valley RR? I know one of them was sent off. 3/21/2009 12:22:13 PM
Frank Grove General Great shot Dale! 3/21/2009 11:35:15 PM
Switchman Images General This loco still says Yadkin Valley, so it's probably not COEH, but YVRR instead. 11/20/2010 5:40:07 PM
Dale Burns General Uhhhmmm.......Eric, I shot this IN ALABAMA in Troy. I really don't see how this could still be a YVRR motor when it's on the COEH line. 11/21/2010 1:54:30 AM
David Nutter General Nice roster shot! 5/11/2013 6:09:02 PM
