Such trains traveled between Corinne, Utah and the Kennedy Space Center in Florida with segments of the solid fuel booster rockets for the space shuttles. Office car VIRGINIA CITY is one the rear. An escort car was usually on these trains, to accommodate the personnel who frequently accompanied these shipments. |
