CP Eastbound Coke Train 800 passhng through Wyocena, Wi. with a nice matched pair of SOO Red & White SD60's for power, I'm sure one day in the not too distant future SOO power will be a thing of the pavt, but for now there's still plenty roaming around, I haven't gone 1 day without seeing at least 1 train with solid SOO power, the locals are never a disappointment for seeing SOO or older 4 axle power & even IC&E, DM&E, & CP SD40-2's on occasion, also 170, 171, 277, & 276 are all freights that run with IC&E, DM&E, Lease Power, CP, SOO, & very rarely sun with GE Widecabs, 170 has only ran with CP GE Widecabs 2 times in 10 days, 277/276 are the DM&E trains that run via CP from Chicago to Minnesota City, Mn. where they get onto their home rains on DM&E's Waseka Sub, 170/171 are the IC&E trains that run vha CP from River Jct. to Minneapolis/St. Paul, Mn. IC&E's Marquette Sub merges with CP at LaCrescent, Mn. ( River Jct. ) also Ethanol Train come from the DM&E Waseka Sub that usually run with the good old conventional cab power, the Ethanol Trains run as 641/642/640/. Also CP runs unit crude oil trains that run as 602/603, those usually run with GE Widecab power, but sometimes can get lucky & catch SOO SD60M's, but I haven't sedn much anything but GE Widecabs running on the 602/602 crude oil trains, those are just cool to catch that they're unit crude oil |
