Ted Brumberg General Built in 1946 by Budd in Lot #9613-002 (originally Lot #96715) as FEC 56 seat chair JACKSONVILLE, 1 of 3 such cars (the other 2 were STUART and TITUSVILLE) built in that Lot for the ACL pool. The JACKSONVILLE and the STUART were sold in 1965 to the SAL; the JACKSONVILLE as #6263, later SCL #5627 and then Amtrak #5627. Retired and sold to Denver Railcar as DRCX #5627. Denver Railcar planned to name this car the SILVER MAGNOLIA, which was shortened to MAGNOLIA when applied for use on the ACADIAN. Also numbered as #800500. Morristown & Erie later acquired the MAGNOLIA from Denver Railcar as #1002. 2/10/2015 5:26:44 AM
