| This Danger Fast Moving Trains sign is located at the Georgia Pacific Crossing just south of Grenada near Elliott, mile 625.7. The large Georgia Pacific mill in the background closed in 2010 but GP still owns and maintains the building for possible future reopening. This plant was once a big customer for the railroad, loading upwards of 10-15 cars per day back in the 1990's. GP had this sign placed here back in the late 80's/early 90's after several log trucks got hit here. |
