Orignially built as M-1 class with 61.5" drivers and 24"x32" cylinders, these Mikados nicknamed by the Reading shops as "Big Dutch Mikes" were rebuilt in 1924 & again in 1943 changing cylinder size and driving wheel diameters during the process and reclassified as an M-1sa class.
