| Burlington Northern Railroad caboose 11007 at West Chicago, Illinois on Spetember 8, 1982, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 11007 was built in 1890 by the CB&Q's Aurora, Illinois shops as class NE-1 number 14497, became BN 11007 sometime after the March 2, 1970 merger, wore Cascade Green paint before being donated to the West Chicago Historical Society in October 1976. Note that it acquired Bettendorf trucks. One source indicates that this waycar is now in Mundelein, Illinois. |
