B&O 4810, engineer's side, after a wreck  Contributor's Pick!
B&O 4810 was in the deadline at the Chessie System (ex-C&O) shops at Huntington, WV on 12-28-1986. Note the visible engine, the messed-up running boards, missing handrails, and the empty numberboard on the left side. There is a large B&O emblem on the end of the long hood. I don't know what ever happened to this unit--was it repaired, sold, scrapped?
