| Tyrone. Here is an original photo that I took of the WW I Memorial in Tyrone, Pennsylvania, on Memorial Day in 1965. Passing behind the Memorial is a 70-car mixed-cargo freight train heading up the Bald Eagle Branch. Pulling it (R to L) are PRR engines #7050, #9768-B, and #7176; all were built by EMD. The caboose is #477810. |
