Oil Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken just West of Mount Union, Pennsylvania, in August of 1962. Shown here is a pair of Baldwin-built "Shark" A-units as they pull a mixed-cargo freight train through the interlocking at JACKS Tower in "Jack's Narrows." The Tower's shadow is visible at the far right. Many thanks to Mr. Rick Erben for identifying this location correctly. |
