Photo Caption: "Baldwin RF-16 #2012, 1600-hp, at Toledo, Ohio." Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroa` engines #2012 and another "Shark" whose number is not recorded. #2012 is a BF-16 built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in February of 1952, rated at 1,600 horsepower, and retired in January of 1969 after just 15 years of revenue service. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Diesels On The Pennsylvania" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (81>-23). |
