| Located at BNSF (ex BN and former Northern Pacific) yard in north Kelso next to Cowlitz Garden. I grew up in Kelso 1/2 mile from here in the 1940' and 50's. Northern Pacific was my favorite and still my favorite railroad. In those days to see a NP A 4-8-4 steam locomotive was a sight to remember. The yard where NP 119911 is located in north Kelso where on occasions I had the opportunity to ride in the cabs of NP W 2-8-2 steam engines as they switched cars. |
