PRR 8731, BS-24M, 1965         
Oil Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by C.G. Parsons that was taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in May of 1965. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8731, a BS-24M transfer locomotive built by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton in December of 1952 and retired in October of 1967 after just 15 years of service. The road numbers of the other locomotives pictured are not recorded.
