PRR 8730, BS-24M, 1966         
Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken at Frankford Junction in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, during March of 1966. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #8730 and #8820. #8730 is a BS-24M built by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton in December of 1952 and rated at 2,400 horsepower. #8820 is an AS-16M built by the American Locomotive Company in November of 1951 and rated at 1,600 horsepower.
