Camden. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken in Camden, New Jersey, on 1 August 1954. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6387, a B-6SB (0-6-0) switcher built in Juniata during November of 1926 and retired in August of 1954 after 28 years of faithful service. Note the wooden pilot beam. The photographer's name and the road numbers of the other locomotives pictured here are not recorded. ("Stoneborobranch"; #22 of 69) |
