| Coming in at nearly 2 miles long, the very lengthy AN yard in Chattahoochee was a staging area for Seminole electric coal trains off AN and the rest of ANs traffic from Port St. Joe and the rest of the railroad. In more recent years, prior to CSX selling the railroad- CSX would stage trains here, switch and change crews here. This yard was favored much more than the CSX yard at river junction. |
