My grandson Luke, 7, got this shot of 425 at the ex-PRR overpass bridge   Contributor's Pick!
As the twig is bent the tree's inclined. Grandpa shot with my Olympus camera, but Luke used Grandpa's cell phone in camera mode to nail a fundamentally good train photo!

Tom Beckett General I used to laugh at people who would take pictures of trains with their phones-they weren't serious railfans. But now, the phones have advanced so much that they will take a picture as good as any SLR. My 62 year old mind still thinks a camera is a better choice, but perhaps that's just because I'm better with that than the phone, which I can't rely on to do what I want it to when I need it. Cool shot. You have trained him well. 9/26/2021 3:21:32 AM
David Krebs General I agree with Tom. 9/26/2021 2:29:13 PM
Butch Getz General He did an excellent job! 9/26/2021 6:14:10 PM
