"Pennsy" Magazine, July-August 1959         
Here is a photo from an article entitled "Rush From Labrador." It was published originally in the July-August 1959 issue of "Pennsy" magazine, page 15. The photographer is not identified. Photo Caption: "Giant furnaces, ore pile, and dumper form background as trains reach Weirton Steel." Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8949, an LS-25M built by Lima-Hamilton in August of 1951, rated at 2,500 horsepower, and retired in July of 1966 after just 15 years of revenue service.
