PRSL Atlantic City, #6 of 10, 1948
Here is the sixth of ten original photos by an unidentified photographer that were taken in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on 21 February 1948. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #7133, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during July of 1918 and retired in September of 1956 after 38 years of faithful service. It's powering a passenger train that's about to depart the Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines Station on a brisk February morning. Gary Mittner Collection.
