Oil Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Enola, Pennsylvania, on 13 October 1963. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5783 and #5572. Both were built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works. #5783 is a BP-20 constructed in November of 1948, rated at 2,000 horsepower, and retired in November of 1964. #5572 is a BS-10A switcher built in January of 1950, rated at 1,000 horsepower, and retired in February of 1967. |
