| Sadly, Chesapeake & Ohio 0-8-0 #235 is sitting in a scrap line with its name and number now crossed out. Oroginally built by Alco-Schenectady in August of 1930 as Hocking Valley 0-8-0 #235, it was later absorbed into the C&O roster and renumbered CO 0-8-0 #235.The final disposition is currently unknown but presumedly scrapped between 1954-57. Specs - serial #68462, class C-16. 52" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 25x28" cylinders, wngine wt of 240,000 lb and tractive effort of 57,200 lb.
