Title:
PRR 4151, E-3SD, 1916
Description:
Classics. Here is a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Baltimore, Maryland, on 29 August 1916. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4151, an E-3SD (4-4-2) "Atlantic" built in Juniata as E-3D number "1028" during 1908, rebuilt as an E-3SD in October of 1912, renumbered "4151" in July of 1914, and retired in October of 1933 after 25 years of faithful service. Note the hostler on the tender's deck. "Fill 'er up, Mack!" (Gift from Brad Mann.)
