| BNSF 5465 leads another northbound grainer through the Seattle connector and north. The train had proceeded west from Pasco along the Columbia River Gorge, and has now recieved a fresh crew for the run north along the Seattle Sub. 5465 is a C44-9W, built in 2000 by General Electric. This unit is one of 1,697 such diesels owned by BNSF, not including the 100 ex-Santa Fe examples inherited in 1995. |
