Both are ES-17M's built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #7615 was built in January of 1958, while #7605 was completed one month earlier. Note the Hostler refilling #7605 with more sand. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9072, a BS-10A switcher built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in April of 1949, rated at 1,000 horsepower, and retired in April of 1966 after just 17 years of revenue service. The road numbers of the other locomotives pictured here are not recorded.
