Description:  Wallin. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Richard R. Wallin that was taken in Homestead, Pennsylvania, in April of 1960. Shown here (L to R) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9488 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All are FF-20's built by Fairbanks-Morse and rated at 2,000 horsepower each. #9488 was constructed in November of 1948 and retired in December of 1963 after just 15 years of service. When there's icicles on the grilles, it's really cold!

Description:  Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of (F to R) Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9735 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. #9735 is a BF-16 built by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton in May of 1951, rated at 1,600 horsepower, and retired in July of 1966 after just 15 years of revenue service. Note the two unfinished trolley tracks in the foreground. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. ("LouisFols"; #9 of 31)

Description:  Oil Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by William P. Nixon. Prominent here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9817 and an "EF" Class B-unit whose road number is not recorded. Both were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9817 is an EF-15A constructed in May of 1951. Note the extra-large 'Keystone' on the nose door! The exact date and the location are not recorded.
