Description:  WB. Here is an image of a photo by the Rachow Studio of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4300, an I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapod" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an I-1S during October of 1922, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in October of 1943, and retired in May of 1956 after 34 years of faithful service. This is very first of 475 Baldwin-built "Decapods." The exact date and the location are not recorded. William E. Burket Collection.

Description:  PGH-ALT-63. Here is an original photo that I took while riding in a Pennsylvania Railroad passenger train from Pittsburgh to Altoona on 8 September 1963. Shown here is PRR engine #7234, an EFS-17M road switcher built by GM-EMD in October of 1959 and rated at 1,750 horsepower. It's the lead unit in an on-coming/westbound mixed-cargo freight train near Latrobe, Pennsylvania. (My train is moving from left to right.)
