Rainy. Here is an original photo that I took in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 12 October 1965. Pictured at the right is a train consisting of 110 empty hoppers ~ headed by Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9808 ~ on its way up the East Slope of the Allegheny Mountains; the N-5 cabin car is #477202. Pictured at the left (L to R) are PRR engines #2433, #2239, #2362, and #2286. #2433 is an AF-25 built by the American Locomotive Company in March of 1965 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. #2239 is an EF-22 built by GM-EMD in May of 1963 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. #2362 and #2286 are EF-25's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,500 horsepower each; #2362 was built in March of 1965, but #2286 was built in June of 1964. They've come down the East Slope of the Allegheny Mountains with a 99-car merchandise freight train and are on their way to the Enola Yards.
