Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6816, an AS-24M built by the American Locomotive Company as number "8616" in August of 1956, rated at 2,400 horsepower, and renumbered "6816" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. Note the chock-blocks at either end of the locomotive. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded.
