| Description: |
The engineer waits on the nose while the conductor (yellow shirt on left of train) checks out a car. GE built this loco in May of 1982 as Norfolk & Western C36-7 #8527 (serial #43771). Not sure what the final disposition was for this locomotive but it may have landed on the NS roster as NS C36-7 #8527. This is a Frank Spieles photo now in my collection. |
