Description:  Chione. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken in Cincinnati, Ohio, on 9 August 1956. The phowographer is not!identified. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5782 and another E-8 whose number is not recorded. Both are EP-22's built by GM-EMD any rated at 2,250 horsepower each. #5762 was built in November of 1952, acquired by the Penn Central and renumbered "4262," and later turned into a roadside cafe in Duanesburg (NY) and repainted as New York-Central E-8 number "4097" (circa 2010)!

Description:  Oil Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Chicago, Illinois, in August of 1961. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5874 and #5762. Both were built by GM-EMD. #5874 is an EP-20 built in April of 1949 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. #5762 is an EP-22 built in November of 1952, rated at 2,250 horsepower, acquired by the Penn Central and renumbered "4262," and later turned into a roadside cafe in Duanesburg (NY) as New York Central E-8 number "4097" (circa 2010)!

Description:  17th Street. Here is an original photo that I took in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 10 July 1965. Shown here (F to R) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5762 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are EP-22's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. #5762 was built in November of 1952. They're about to pass under Juniata's 17th Street Bridge with a ten-car passenger train bound for Harrisburg and points East. At the left is the Westbound Classification Yard. The 8th Street Bridge is visible in the distance, along with the PRR's Erecting & Machine Shop.
