The third class of Mikados, E-4A3, built by Baldwin in 1922 were slightly heavier than the first two classes and slightly better tractive effort. Specs - 64" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 28x32" cylinders, engine weight of 327,725 lb, tractive effort of 66,640 lb. All five in the class were scrapped between 1956-60. Unknown photographer. |
