Title:  Along the pole line
Description:  Train 419-it ran to Buffalo and Toronto the days 167 didnt run, though this day'seffort still has 18 stack platforms along with its 112 cars-rolls west along the George F Highway and the Erie pole line into the afternoon sun. NS would single track this ten years later, and remove the poles. It opened up the shot, but took away one of the things that made this line interesting.

Title:  Sailing through the corn
Description:  The open field at Hiawatha Road in Owego rotates crops. This season it was growing corn, giving the appearance that passing trains were just riding on top of it. Heres CP 419 with 112 cars and 18 intermodal platforms passing the agricultural splendor.

Title:  419 in the gloom
Description:  Its one of my favorite spots, but the Tier gloom sometimes can even make a pretty spot dull. The red CP power helps, though, as 419 works west along the Susquehanna with three CPs and a SOO unit and 48 cars.
